Marge takes it upon herself to protest its sale. In said game (the one you're playing), the world's most violent video game, Grand Theft Scratchy, has just been released. In both games, the plot is that the Simpsons find themselves once again licensed into a bad video game. I played both the Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS versions and was quite impressed with both. Electronic Arts' The Simpsons Game might be the game that finally redeems this franchise and restores it to the glory of the Konami arcade game days.
